National Foreign Language Week
Meadowview Elementary says, “Bon Jour, Hola, and Ni Hao!”
Meadowview Elementary students are getting a global education by celebrating National Foreign Language week with guest readers, and lots of labels throughout the building. Our very own students, parents, and a grandparent visited classrooms to share stories told in other languages. A student from Emory & Henry was also busy all morning, reading and talking with students in three languages. These visitors and students were great examples of bilingualism, and taught students phrases in Spanish, French, and Chinese. MES students were quick learners, and look forward to taking foreign languages when they go to Middle and High School!
