Families, We often take for granted the time that teachers spend with our children. However, it is in those moments that lifelong lessons are learned that leave a legacy. Please reach out to your child’s teachers to thank them for the legacy they are helping you build through empowering our most valuable resource; our children. Thank you, Dr. Perrigan

Parents, guardians, and school community members, Due to a water pressure issue following yesterday's water line break, the water supply on campus has been shut off to repair an issue with the water pressure valve. The WCPS Maintenance supervisor states that the water supply will likely be interrupted through the end of the school day. Students, faculty, and staff have access to water bottles and ice machines. Teachers, students, and staff have been directed to use the public restrooms at the football stadium. Teachers will be supervising classes as they commute to and from the restrooms. At this time, students will continue to proceed through their normal school day. I will continue to issue updates on this email thread as developments occur. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Respectfully, Ms. Helton.

Parents, guardians, and school community members, At approximately 10:00am, a significant water line break was discovered near our gymnasium awning/cafeteria school entrance. We immediately involved the WCPS Maintenance Supervisor, Division Superintendent, and Assistant Superintendent. Prior to cutting off the main water supply, students were encouraged to use the restroom. At approximately 10:45am, the main water supply was shut off. We have over 800 water bottles for students, faculty and staff, and three ice machines to ensure that we all remain properly hydrated. Additionally, we DO have water supply at the football stadium (public restrooms). Teachers are encouraged to walk students to the football stadium (by class) at the beginning and end of each class. The repair is expected to last 1-2 hours (at least). At this time, students will continue to proceed through their normal school day. I will continue to issue updates on this email thread as developments occur. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Attention PHHS Seniors: We will be having senior cap and gown pictures tomorrow, Wednesday, May 1, starting at 8:30.  Please bring your undecorated cap, tassel and gown.  For those seniors that have not received a cap and gown yet we will have similar cap and gowns for you to wear. We will not have this year's tassel so bring yours with you. Cap and gown photos look best when dress clothes are worn underneath.  We suggest that seniors pay attention to their collars (necktie/blouse) and what is below their knees (dress pants/skirt/dress shoes).   If you plan on ordering pictures from PhotoGenius, you will need the order form and payment tomorrow. Group photos will be $10.00.
