🍴 Today, our Culinary students prepared a classic Béchamel Sauce served with steamed broccoli.
These students have been hard at work mastering the five Mother Sauces—the building blocks of classic cuisine!
✨ Hollandaise with poached eggs
✨ Velouté (white stock–based) with seared chicken
✨ Espagnole (brown sauce with beef stock) paired with wild rice
✨ Béchamel (roux + milk/cream) with steamed broccoli
They’ve now completed the full set of sauces—giving them a strong foundation to create endless flavor combinations! 👩🍳👨🍳

WCCTEC Drafting I and Drafting Architecture students have been mastering the art of proper drafting lettering. On Thursday, 9/25/2025, we added a fun twist to our practice! Students got creative by practicing their lettering on laminated pages using icing and then decorated delicious alphabet cookies. It was a tasty and enjoyable way to enhance their lettering skills!
