Kickoff to Connection

The Washington County Public Schools Parent Resource Center is hosting its very first event—Kickoff to Connection!

* When: September 25
*Where: EO Building, Abingdon
*Time: 4:00–6:00 p.m.

This resource fair is designed to support and empower families of students with disabilities. You’ll have the chance to meet community partners, each hosting a table with valuable information, resources, and support for your family.

It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with local organizations offering a wide range of services—come join us and start building your network!

As part of our Once Upon a Leo theme, students explore a different fairy tale each month. This month, we are reading The Three Little Pigs and using the story to highlight and discuss positive character traits. These lessons are being integrated into daily classwork, allowing students to connect the story’s themes to their everyday learning activities.

Many thanks to our local Food Lion for providing delicious snacks for the staff to enjoy! It's a great day to be a Lion!
